VPS must sell SitexOrbis’s GB arm says Competition Commission

The Competition Commission has announced that it requires VPS Holdings Limited to sell SitexOrbis's business in Great Britain. The merger of two leading suppliers of vacant property security services to local authorities and businesses such as residential and commercial landlords, retailers, facilities management companies and insurance firms has been assessed to have the potential to 'harm competition and lead to higher prices for many customers'.
