ThinkFM, the facilities management conference brought to you by the British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM) in association with Workplace Law will take place on Monday 10 June 2013, once again at the iconic Royal College of Physicians in London.
The focus of ThinkFM 2013 will be: ‘The leadership challenge’.
Gareth Tancred, CEO of BIFM, said “We are delighted to confirm the date and the strong, positive theme for ThinkFM 2013. The conference has grown in stature since its launch a few years ago and I am confident that 2013 will be the biggest ThinkFM to date. Returning to The Royal College of Physicians for a second year should prove a popular choice, as the venue lends itself very well to the hub format of ThinkFM and offers excellent transport links. Once again we have an excellent Programme Advisory Group in place, and are forming a wider Consultative Panel. I know they will deliver a very strong, inspiring and educational programme, addressing a range of fundamental leadership challenges in the FM profession.”
David Sharp, Founder and Managing Director of Workplace Law added: “We were delighted with the success of ThinkFM 2012, the first time we have collaborated with the BIFM on this key annual conference. The feedback was extremely good, and there are lots of exciting developments in store for 2013, where we look forward to working with BIFM again. This year we undertook a comprehensive research programme into the FM sector, with responses from nearly 500 participants. We are extending our research programme to help us analyse high performance FM service providers and clients, and look forward to presenting the findings of our research at ThinkFM 2013.”
For the third consecutive year, ThinkFM will work on a ‘hub’ format, whereby delegates can create their own agenda from concurrent sessions, rather than the constraints of a set agenda. This allows delegates to build on current knowledge on a particular topic or learn something new.
ThinkFM 2012 played host to over 320 delegates, and 2013 aims to build on its resounding success bringing together the FM community and focusing on delivering even more value.
