The Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management (IWFM) has announced a new national summit for the profession that will replace ThinkFM and operate as the IWFM Conference.
The first national IWFM Conference, which will take place on 24 April 2019 at etc. venues St Paul’s – 200 Aldersgate, London, will feature speakers from leading business schools, authors who explore the future of work, experts in digital marketing, and even a hostage negotiator.
Speaking about the event, Linda Hausmanis, IWFM CEO, said: “At a time when our profession faces unprecedented disruption, the IWFM Conference has been curated to provide professionals with the insight, inspiration and skills to seize this opportunity and confirm the workplace and facilities management role as core to the business operation.”
The event will be based around three themes: Disruption, Skills Perspective and Be the Change, which Hausmanis added: “will give attendees the tools to change perspective, alter narratives, adjust culture and go and be the leaders of the profession.”
Director of Insight Chris Moriarty, commented: “We’ve curated this conference for difference-making. The compilation of experts will power us through a programme that explores the macro environment, the changing nature of work, the skills required in this new world, and the motivational push needed to go and make a difference within organisations. It’s a cracking line up. I can’t wait for April”
