UKGBC Future Leaders invites applicants for 2020 Programme

The UK Green Building Council (UKGBC) has opened applications for its prestigious sustainability leadership and innovation programme aimed at the industry’s Future Leaders.

UKGBC Future Leaders has now launched its online application process for the next programme, seeking to attract a select group of the best and brightest minds in the built environment to focus on critical issues facing the sector.

The programme commences in January and continues over five months, during which participants develop the skills needed to drive innovation and lead sustainable business practices in their respective organisations.

Elfrida Hamilton-Russell, UKGBC’s Head of Learning and Leadership, commented: “As the evidence proves the scale of the planetary emergency we face, it is clear we need a bold new generation of leaders to step forward, equipped with the skills to reimagine and transform our built environment for the better. If you have the enthusiasm to learn, an openness to new ways of thinking and a desire to challenge the status quo, don’t wait – apply now for Future Leaders 2020.”

Individuals from any discipline within the construction and property industry are encouraged to apply. Applicants are expected to have between five and 10 years’ experience in the industry, as well as a drive to challenge business as usual and have a positive impact on the future of our built environment.

The deadline for applications is 11 October.
