Ultimate gains London Living Wage recognition

Ultimate Security Services has been accredited with ‘London Living Wage Recognised Service Provider’ status by the Living Wage Foundation.

The company, which provides security, front of house and corporate reception business services will now offer a Living Wage option for each request for tender and will pay its contracted staff a wage that meets the cost of living and pay the real Living Wage to all staff working for its core business.

The London Living Wage is currently £9.75 per hour and covers all boroughs in Greater London. The UK Living Wage for outside of London is currently £8.45 per hour. These figures are set annually by the Resolution Foundation.

Currently almost 3,000 employers commit to paying all of their directly employed and contracted staff the real living wage as part of its accredited employer network. Seventy-five Recognised Service Providers work with the Living Wage Foundation to offer Living Wage options for contracted staff, ensuring a real Living Wage is always possible when outsourcing services.

Steve Hall, Ultimate Security Services CEO, commented:

“I am delighted that we have been successful in achieving recognition as a London Living Wage Service Provider and we are very proud to be working together with the Living Wage Foundation. This organisation is at the heart of the movement for fair pay and we believe that the recognition reflects the importance we place in our people here at Ultimate.”
