Contract interiors specialist Gradus has updated its wall protection catalogue, which contains informative 3D and 2D drawings, as well as information on new products and current legislation.
The updated catalogue incorporates isometric drawings detailing suggested product use for different market sectors to help users visualise where Gradus wall protection systems can be used most effectively.
Magnified 3D views of handrails and wall guards are also featured, in order to illustrate how products can work together. Similarly, 2D drawings of all profiles, as well as strong ‘in-situ’ photography, are also included for ease of selection and product identification on site.
As well as technical drawings and eye-catching photography, Gradus’ updated wall protection catalogue includes details on new products, including the 940 handrail and 3400 Dual Rail.
The 940 handrail replaces the 950 handrail and features dimensions in line with guidance in BS8300:2009+A1:2010, Approved Documents M and K of The Building Regulations 2010 and Health Building Note (HBN) 00-04. It is available in 30 colour options to allow the handrail colour to contrast with the wall, to aid with user identification.
Gradus’ 940 handrail now forms part of the new and improved 3400 Dual Rail, which combines a handrail with a separate wall guard using a specialist bracket, in order to satisfy requirements as detailed in HBN 00-04.
Last but not least, the updated catalogue also features a comprehensive section detailing the latest guidance and legislation applicable to wall protection, to help specifiers adhere to regulations in the updated Approved Document M and the new Approved Document K of The Building Regulations 2010, as well as BS8300:2009+A1:2010, HBN 00-10 and HBN 00-04.
Gradus’ 940 handrail is now available on the Rapid Response service (24 hour lead time). For more information, please contact Gradus Technical Support on 01625 428922. The updated wall protection catalogue is available to download from www.gradusworld.com.
