Wilson Vale adds Kent College Pembury to its portfolio

Wilson Vale has won a catering contract with Kent College Pembury, an independent day, boarding, nursery and preparatory school for girls in Pembury, Kent.

The independent caterers commenced the three-year deal worth £750K in annual turnover on 8 January, taking over from the incumbent caterers, Brookwood, to provide catering services to 600 pupils and 200 staff.

Services to be provided include breakfast, lunch and tea, as well as catering for boarders, match teas and other school events.

Wilson Vales’ focus at Kent College Pembury will be on quality seasonal ingredients, with everything cooked freshly on-site for maximum nutrition and flavour.

Andrew Wilson, co-founder of Wilson Vale, said: “Winning this prestigious, independent school is a pinnacle moment for us, bringing us into Kent and allowing us to work in a fabulous setting with a like-minded client who shares our fresh food ethos. It’s a fantastic school and our objective is always to match the food offering to the culture and quality standards of the school.”

The contract award further strengthens Wilson Vale’s independent education portfolio, which now represents 25 per cent of the business, with the majority within the B&I and venues sectors.
