YMF event: Is it time for competitors to collaborate?

This is the million-dollar question since the demise of Carillion which will be debated by a panel of experts at an event being held by the YMF.

Following the recent announcement of Carillion’s insolvency, the workplace industry came together as a community to help ensure that the collapse didn’t totally wipe 19,500 UK based employees across Government/construction contracts. Not only did this impact directly employed staff, it also hit around 30,000 SME’s who provided sub contracted support and are still owed outstanding debts following the Insolvency.

The panel will be discussing Carillion’s insolvency, lessons learnt and is it the time for serious collaborative working with the supplier and customer?

The panellists include: Deborah Rowlands – Sodexo previously Ministry Of Justice, Dan Travers – G4S Procurement lead, Chris Seville – Ex CS and now part of the wider G4S team alongside Steve Lawlor from JLL who forms part of the Integrated facilities management leadership team with a wealth of experience in both account management and client sales/solutions development.

The event will be taking place at the UBS office in the City of London on Monday, 30th April from 17:30 to 21:00 hrs.
