VINCI CONSTRUCTION UK CHIEF EXECUTIVE AND
CHAIRMAN STEPS DOWN
Bruno Dupety has led VINCI Construction UK since late 2014 and overseen
a move to a much stronger position. At the mid-point of the calendar year
VINCI Construction UK is in a robust financial situation, with a strong order
book for 2019 that builds on a solid performance in 2018.
Commenting, Dupety said: “With the support of the wider VINCI group,
an excellent team and the commitment of our people, we managed to turn
the business around. The company has improved a lot, in terms of delivering its services,
quality, productivity, digitalisation and creating a stronger culture and embedding better
decision making. Now is a good time to make a change.” Dupety will act as a consultant to
the company from August onwards, and will remain involved in a few major projects.
E ective from 5 August, Jerome Stubler, the Chairman and CEO of VINCI Construction in
France, will act as CEO of the UK business.

ALAN LOVELL NAMED NEW CHAIRMAN OF
INTERSERVE GROUP
Interserve Group Limited has announced that
Alan Lovell has been appointed Chairman,
e ective 15 July 2019. Lovell succeeds Glyn
Barker, who steps down a er leading the
Company since March 2016. Lovell’s executive
career includes considerable expertise working
across the construction and energy sectors, at
Tamar Energy, Infinis, Jarvis, and Costain Group, and four years
as National Chair of the Consumer Council for Water. He also
brings valuable commercial and board experience. Lovell’s other
current roles include Chairman of Safestyle UK and the Senior
Independent Director of SIG plc.
The Apleona HSG Facility Management UK and Ireland Board has been strengthened with three new appointments, two of
which are as a result of internal promotions.
Jacqui Paice has been promoted to the position of Managing Director for UK FM. Paice initially joined the business more
than eight years ago to manage one of the UK’s largest retail portfolios, before taking on the role of UK FM Operations
Director in June 2017. She succeeds Peter Young who has departed as per a planned timescale agreed 12 months previously.
Also internally promoted is Heather Steel, who has been appointed as MD of Workspace; Apleona’s specialist design, consultancy, fit-out and moves
management business. Steel joined the company as Commercial Director in late 2018 a er previously being employed in senior Commercial roles for
more than 15 years. The third new Board appointment is Chief Financial O icer Douglas Hogg. Prior to joining Apleona, he was CFO at Ingenico, initially
with responsibility for the UK, Ireland and Nordics before this expanded to include Europe, Middle East and Africa. In his new role, Hogg will focus on the
improvement of systems and controls to drive e iciency and e ectiveness across all main financial processes.
