EnvirotechFM has been awarded a contract to deliver facilities management services at a brand-new state-of-the-art concert venue located in the heart of London.
More than a century after the first Bechstein Hall opened in London, the German piano manufacturer returned to Wigmore Street in late 2024 to open new £40 million premises that include a 100-seat concert venue, flagship showroom, practice rooms, bar and restaurant.
Upon opening, Bechstein Hall appointed EnvirotechFM to deliver services including 24/7 Customer Service Desk, onsite weekly site inspections, statutory maintenance, and technical consultation, plus snagging works associated with the opening of a new building.
Terence Lewis, Bechstein Hall Artistic Director, said: “I have been thrilled with the outstanding support I have received from EnvirotechFM. During the opening months of our new building, we have experienced a range of teething problems, and every time, EnvirotechFM has acted promptly and professionally to get us back up and running. I honestly don’t know how I would have done this without them.”
Brody Finley, Envirotech FM Operations Director, said: “Within one month of our first meeting with representatives of Bechstein Hall, we mobilised and had our team onsite delivering high-quality services on behalf of what is a world-renowned organisation. We quickly developed an excellent relationship, and the client not only trusts our advice, but also knows that our close geographical proximity in central London means that we can be onsite almost immediately should it be required.”
