Alison Davis has been appointed to the role of Sustainability Director at Skanska UK, effective 1 August 2025. She takes over the position from Adam Crossley, who was promoted to Executive Vice President in June 2025.
In her new role Davis will lead the company’s drive to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2045, further advancing Skanska’s commitment to sustainability and social value across its UK business and projects.
Davis brings 15-years of experience to the position, having joined Skanska as a graduate in 2010, progressing through the organisation. Most recently, she has led the sustainability function for building operations, where her responsibilities included driving carbon reductions, maximising circular solutions and social value, and integrating sustainable practices into project delivery.
Jo Mortensen, Executive Vice President, said: “Alison’s operational experience of delivering sustainable solutions will be invaluable as we continue to scale climate solutions that deliver lasting value for our customers and communities. Her commitment to embedding sustainable practices will help drive our net zero ambitions forward.”
