Jo Pick has been appointed to the newly created executive role of Chief People Officer at engineering specialist firm, MARCH.
The appointment marks a significant step in the company’s commitment to nurturing talent and advancing engineering excellence.
Pick joins MARCH from Wincanton, where she led a team of more than 300 professionals supporting over 20,000 colleagues across the UK and Ireland. She has over two decades of senior leadership experience in people strategy, having also held pivotal roles at Greencore, Johnson & Johnson, and Royal Mail. Her expertise spans large-scale transformation, digital innovation, and complex organisational change, including mergers and acquisitions. Pick is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
In her new role, Pick will lead MARCH’s people strategy, with a focus on empowering teams, enabling career development, and building a cohesive and high-performing organisation. She will oversee initiatives to attract and retain the best talent, support development through the MARCH Academy, and strengthen engineering capabilities across the business.
