AEFM awarded two-year school maintenance deal

National facilities management provider, AEFM Limited, has won a two-year contract with Belvue High School to deliver comprehensive planned and reactive maintenance services across the school’s estate.

Belvue High School, known for its inclusive approach to education and its commitment to providing a safe, inspiring setting for students with additional needs, requires a nuanced and responsive facilities management service that prioritises both technical excellence and operational empathy.

Under the terms of the agreement, awarded via the Crescent Purchasing Consortium (CPC) Framework, AEFM will provide a full spectrum of building maintenance services, ensuring statutory compliance, asset resilience, and timely response to emerging issues. The scope includes SFG20-aligned planned maintenance, emergency reactive interventions, and ongoing advisory support to enhance building performance all delivered in close coordination with the school’s leadership team.

Claire Preston, Head of Business and Finance at Belvue High School said: “We are pleased to be working with AEFM Limited on this important contract. Ensuring that our school remains safe, compliant, and well maintained is central to creating the right environment for our students to learn and thrive. AEFM’s understanding of our needs and their flexible, responsive approach gives us confidence that our facilities will continue to support both our staff and young people effectively.”

Andy Erskine, Chief Executive Officer of AEFM commented: “We’re delighted to be entrusted by Belvue High School and recognise the significance of operating within a uniquely supportive educational environment. This contract is not only an opportunity to showcase our technical capabilities but to reinforce our commitment to thoughtful, human-centred service delivery.”

The award builds on AEFM’s broader vision of partnering with educational institutions to create safe, functional spaces that support learning, wellbeing, and long-term sustainability.
