Mitie has been named as a supplier on Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) Transport Technology Framework (RM6347) to support UK public sector organisations with integrated transport solutions including transport.
The framework, which supports every stage from strategy and consultancy through to installation, deployment, and data management, has named Mitie on the following five lots:
- lot 1: Transport Professional Services
- lot 2: Transport Data Services
- lot 4: Environmental Monitoring & Climate Resilience
- lot 6: Zero Emission Vehicle Charging and Fuelling Infrastructure
- lot 8c: Lighting and Electrical Installation
The agreement will run for eight years, enabling Mitie to support public sector organisations with a wide range of transport and environmental consultancy and implementation services to help the public sector develop and deliver low emission transport strategies.
The framework, aimed at modernising transportation and creating opportunities for businesses to grow and innovate, gives the UK public sector access to transport solutions, including sustainable transport technology, mobility solutions and infrastructure support. Mitie’s consultancy has helped over 35 customers build their fleet estate decarbonisation strategies in the past three years alone, providing them with the tools and insight needed to decarbonise their operations.
With a fleet of over 6,300 EV’s, accounting for 73 per cent of its total fleet, Mitie’s real-world experience and expertise in fleet electrification will be deployed to help public sector clients, such as local councils and central governments, to deliver transport technology planning and installation services. Using telematics, Mitie’s data-led approach means the most suitable charging solutions can be deployed and any potential risks and mitigations related to EV charging infrastructure can be identified and addressed.
Mark Caskey, Managing Director, Projects, Mitie, said: “Being named a supplier on RM6347 Transport Technology Framework is an important milestone for Mitie and a powerful endorsement of our commitment to sustainable innovation. With our extensive experience in fleet electrification and data-led consultancy, we’re uniquely positioned to help public sector organisations accelerate their journey to net zero. We’re excited to collaborate with partners across the UK to deliver bold, future-ready transport solutions that will make a real difference to communities nationwide.”
The way we work has changed – yet, many organisations are still relying on rigid, one-size-fits-all tools to manage desks and meeting rooms, according to a new study from workplace management solutions provider, Matrix Booking.
Spreadsheets, calendars, and generic booking software may have worked once, but they’re struggling to keep pace with today’s flexible, hybrid workforce. The result? Wasted time, frustrated employees, and expensive underutilised space.
Matrix Booking’s new study, ‘One-size-fits-all booking systems don’t work for today’s workforce’, explores why current systems are falling short – and how organisations can reimagine workspace management to boost efficiency, employee experience, and cost savings.
