Corps Security secures Neovia Logistics win

Corps Security has won a three-year contract with contract logistics provider Neovia Logistics, which will see 10 Corps officers providing estate security, guarding, site support and searching services at the company’s distribution centre near Milton Keynes.

Under the contract, Corps will provide comprehensive security services for Neovia Logistics, which operates in a highly regulated environment requiring stringent security protocols to meet accreditation requirements on behalf of its clients. The contract will expand the site’s security provision to cover multiple access points across the site with a dedicated site cover team.

Neovia Logistics selected Corps Security for its strong account management structure and rollout plan proposed at the tender stage, clear regional support strategy, and its strong accessibility compliance. Neovia Logistics was also impressed by Corps’ ESG and DEI commitments and comprehensive operational protocols that aligned with the site’s specific needs.

Mark Williams, Site Support Manager at Neovia Logistics, said: “Security is paramount in our highly regulated operations. We were impressed by Corps Security’s comprehensive understanding of our needs and cost-effective approach. We are confident that we have selected the right partner to deliver the services our site requires.”

Dale Johnson, Regional Manager at Corps Security, commented: “We are delighted to partner with Neovia Logistics to enhance its site security. This contract demonstrates our ability to adapt and meet the complex needs of highly regulated logistics environments, and we look forward to supporting Neovia Logistics’ complex operations.”

E.ON and FMJ webinar: Moving from a reactive service to proactive services: Identifying energy issues early and automatically

Wednesday 14 January at 11:00am

Building Management Systems (BMS) have long been used to control the heart of a building – monitoring and controlling its essential systems such as lighting, ventilation, heating and air conditioning. Facilities Managers want the best visibility to help detect and deal with concerns before they become issues.

This webinar brings together the experts from energy network provider, E.ON along with FM thought leaders to discuss moving from a reactive service to a proactive service. By identifying energy issues early and automatically, instead of occupants reporting issues, then potential faults can be identified early and remedied. The BMS does this before the problem occurs by using smart alerting and EMC support services.

Panel:

  • Sara Bean: Editor FMJ (Facilities Management Journal)
  • Nick Westlake: Energy and Service Delivery Manager at E.ON Control Solutions
  • Sunil Shah, the author of IWFM’s Energy Management Good Practice Guide and MD of Acclaro Advisory
  • David Cermak, Regional Facilities Manager for David Lloyd Clubs
