Workman to manage Landsec’s leisure park portfolio

Commercial property management and building consultancy firm, Workman LLP, has been appointed by Landsec to manage its portfolio of retail and leisure assets across the UK, from 1 January 2026.

Workman will manage leisure parks including West India Quays in London, Fountain Park in Edinburgh and Tower Park in Poole, with parks spanning other major urban centres including Leeds, Norwich, Cambridge, and Bath.

Workman’s Retail & Leisure team has worked closely with Landsec throughout its mobilisation period to understand the needs of each operator across the 14 parks, and the operational support required to deliver great experiences for the millions of guests that visit Landsec’s leisure parks each year.

Nick Hilton Partner at Workman, said: “We’re excited to be working with Landsec on this portfolio. These are well-used parks that serve their communities, and our job is to make sure they’re managed properly and consistently. Our team will spend time getting to know the people behind the businesses at each location, understanding what matters to them, and building the relationships that make effective property management possible. We’re focused on doing the work well, supporting Landsec’s vision, and making sure these parks continue to be places people want to visit.”

Andrew Russell, Asset Management Director at Landsec, said: “Our new partnership with Workman will enhance our focus on creating the best operational environment for our brands and leisure operators to flourish, and curating the best experiences that keep our guests coming back, time and time again.”

Webinar FMJ and askporter: How to overcome the comms gap in FM with AI and tech tools

According to the 2026 UK Facilities Management Market Research Report by askporter, facilities management professionals want clear, verifiable evidence of work being delivered, with teams that can communicate progress in real time. This requires technology that is affordable, intuitive, and quick to adopt.

Yet the report found that:

Over three quarters of FM professionals (76 per cent) experience operational inefficiencies caused by siloed software which results in a lack of real-time visibility.

Communications challenges lead to maintenance issues, with 73 per cent of teams being forced into reactive problem-solving on a weekly basis.

A worrying level of compliance gaps, with 44 per cent of admitting that half or less of their compliance tasks are tracked and automated within their systems.

Closing this gap requires the establishment of transparent and consistent communications using affordable software that gives FM teams the ability to track, evidence and improve their services.

This webinar provides a valuable overview of the main findings of the report by askporter followed by a panel discussion by FM thought leaders on practical, strategic solutions that can help close this communications gap.
