More leadership appointments at Willmott Dixon

The Willmott Dixon Group has further strengthened its leadership team with the announcement of two new Managing Directors, who will key parts of its business, reinforcing the company’s commitment to developing talent from within and positioning the Group for its next phase of growth.

Judy Hegarty becomes Managing Director at Fortem while Simon Ramage steps up to the position of MD at the company’s London & East construction region. The new appointments follow the recent announcement of Adam Worall being named as the new Managing Director at Willmott Dixon Interiors.

Hegarty has been promoted to Managing Director at Fortem, Willmott Dixon’s specialist property solutions provider for social housing. She will work alongside Chief Operating Officer, Chris Tredget as Fortem pursues its ambitious growth strategy.

The promotion comes after Hegarty became Fortem’s Deputy Managing Director at the start of 2025 when the company launched its ‘FOR Our Future’ growth strategy, and prior to that, was the company’s Finance Director, where she led the implementation of commercial processes and IT systems that delivered £7 million in efficiency gains.

Also becoming a Managing Director is Simon Ramage, who takes on the role at Willmott Dixon’s London & East construction region, having served as Deputy Managing Director since August following Stewart Brundell’s promotion to Chief Operating Officer at Willmott Dixon Construction.

Like Brundell, Ramage is a former Willmott Dixon trainee and Trainee of the Year winner and has almost 30 years’ experience at the company, most recently serving as Director of Delivery in the region before stepping up to Deputy Managing Director.

Graham Dundas, Willmott Dixon’s Chief Executive Officer, said: “These three promotions further demonstrate the genuine opportunities for development within the Group and I am excited to be working with each of them. Judy’s promotion is a testament to her leadership and strategic vision. Her deep understanding of social housing operations, combined with her track record of delivering transformational change, makes her the ideal person to lead Fortem through its next phase of growth.

“With Simon now leading our London & East region and Adam at the helm of Interiors, we have exceptional new leaders in place to help drive our ambitious long-term plans. All three appointments come at an exciting time as we see exceptional opportunities across our core markets.”
