David Miles has been appointed Vice President, Operations – Transport at ABM, a leading provider of facility, engineering, transport and infrastructure solutions. This newly created role will play a pivotal part in driving ABM’s growth across the rail, maritime, and bus sectors.
Miles brings 19 years’ sector experience to ABM’s Transport & Aviation leadership team. His experience leading large-scale transport operations at Mitie has given him deep expertise in delivering safe, compliant and high-performing services across complex, regulated environments. This expertise will support ABM’s continued growth across critical transport infrastructure.
The recent successful mobilisation of one of the UK’s largest accessible travel contracts at Heathrow demonstrates the team’s ability to deliver complex services at scale. It also reflects ABM’s wider Transport & Aviation strategy, centred on passenger experience, continuous improvement and technology-enabled delivery through platforms such as ABM Connect. Miles will now play a key role in mobilising a new flagship transport contract, building on this momentum and further strengthening ABM’s operational leadership across transport environments.
Miles will report to Kelly Parish, Vice President, Transport & Aviation at ABM.
