Atlas London in Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea win

Atlas London has secured a five-year soft services contract with the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

Spanning 32 sites across the borough, the agreement covers a comprehensive range of services, including daily office cleaning, deep cleans, feminine hygiene, window cleaning, confidential waste management, consumable provision, graffiti removal and reactive pest control.

Commenting on the new contract award, Martin Fitch, Managing Director of Atlas London said: “We are delighted to have been selected by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea for this important contract. Our team’s dedication, combined with our investment in sustainable technologies to drive best value, will support us to provide best-in-class services throughout the historic borough.”

The contract builds on Atlas London’s previous experience in the borough, having worked on-site for several years. This familiarity, coupled with a strong reputation for service excellence, played a key role in the client’s decision to appoint Atlas directly. A key innovation in this contract is the deployment of new innovations that reflect both partners’ commitment to sustainability and operational efficiency.

Ashok Stephen, Workplace Operations Manager, Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea commented: “We are pleased to appoint Atlas London as our soft services provider across the borough. Their commitment to helping us provide a quality service to our residents, and their focus on sustainability and innovation, made them the ideal partner for this contract. We look forward to a collaborative relationship that supports the high standards expected across our estate.”

Atlas is employing more than 110 staff members on the contract, providing a real boost to employment in the local area.

The contract is for an initial five-year term with the potential for further extension.
