Regional procurement specialist EN:Procure, part of social housing consortium Efficiency North, has appointed 10 contractors to its new £30 million lifts framework.
Covering the installation, refurbishment, servicing and maintenance of lifts, stairlifts and personal lifting equipment in residential, public and commercial buildings, the framework is the latest Gen-4 generation of tenders, incorporating the FAC-1 Framework Agreement and dynamic models for ESG delivery, as well as a focus on increased transparency and collaboration. It will provide a wide range of social, economic and environmental benefits for communities served by Efficiency North’s membership of social housing providers, local authorities and other public sector bodies.
EN:Procure invited tenders for work from companies that could fulfil its requirements to work collaboratively, to a high standard and reflect its commitment to wider regeneration.
The successful contractors have specialist third party or independent accreditation through the Lift and Escalator Association (LEIA) or the Lifting Equipment Engineers’ Association (LEEA).

While the framework was procured on the basis of two original lots set out in the invitation to tender (ITT), on projects across the UK and for a framework duration of 48 months EN:Procure says the framework has been designed to offer clients greater flexibility, enabling them to utilise each lot separately or combine them as needed.
