Maintaining the highest standards of safety, driving continuous improvement in service quality and strengthening collaboration with EDF remain priorities. Dalkia will focus on continually improving service delivery and investing in comprehensive training and development opportunities to empower its workforce and support long-term success.

Mark Hartley, MD, EDF Nuclear Operations, said: “I am grateful for the positive engagement of the facilities management teams working on EDF’s existing nuclear power stations in the UK. I am confident that they will continue to thrive under the leadership of Dalkia and contribute to the enhanced performance of our fleet over the coming years.”

Noel Clancy, MD Dalkia’s Facilities Division, commented: “Our appointment is a strong validation of our capabilities, expertise, and continued commitment to delivering high quality solutions for our customers. I look forward to welcoming our new colleagues to Dalkia UK and I want to thank everyone who has helped with the mobilisation, over the past 12 months, ensuring we are in a strong position to successfully deliver this broad and complex contract.”

This contract is a pivotal achievement in Dalkia’s UK strategy, with the nuclear sector now representing 25 per cent of its business activity. It is expected to boost the company’s order book by over £200 million.
