Interaction designs new coworking hub for FOUNDRY

Flexible workspace operator FOUNDRY has opened a brand-new coworking hub in Hove, East Sussex which has been designed by Bath-based workplace specialists Interaction.

The new coworking centre, part of the flagship Hove Gardens development, accommodates up to 300 coworkers in state-of-the-art office facilities next to the town’s railway station.

The modern workspace spans 22,000 sq ft on the building’s ground floor and includes a mix of private offices, dedicated and hot desks, soundproof booths, and breakout and event spaces. There is also a yoga studio and eight wellness suites for businesses offering wellbeing services to the residents of Hove Gardens.

Interaction’s design concept reflects Hove’s history as a fishing village, its Regency era past and its current, vibrant café culture. Key design features include beach hut-style toilets and a specially commissioned wall graphic featuring the South Downs. Timber and rattan have been used throughout the coworking space to echo Hove’s nautical history. There are also neon signs and bright colours to reflect present-day Hove.

Pamela D’Alessandro, lead designer at Interaction, said: “This is the second office project that we have completed for FOUNDRY, having also designed their stunning coworking hub in London’s Wandsworth. It’s great to be working with a team who share our passion for creating unique, community-driven spaces where businesses can thrive.”
