DMA Maintenance has promoted Wendy Bennett to the role of Managing Director.
With a proud history spanning 223 years, the appointment reflects both the strength of the company’s heritage and its ongoing development as a modern, forward-looking, and operationally strong business.
Having been with DMA for five years, Bennett most recently served as Chief Operating Officer, playing a key role in strengthening operational performance, supporting sustainable growth, and embedding DMA’s multi-award-winning maintenance management platform, BiO®.
DMA says her promotion demonstrates a clear focus on continuity and proven leadership. Bennett brings deep operational knowledge, a strong understanding of customer and service partner expectations, and a people-focused approach that supports consistent, high-quality service delivery.
As Managing Director, Bennett will work closely with the Board and her Senior Management Team to build on DMA’s long-standing foundations, while continuing to develop the business to support future growth and evolving customer requirements.
Commenting on her new role, Bennett said: “DMA’s history is something we’re incredibly proud of, but it’s our ability to adapt and keep improving that defines us today. Having spent the last five years with the business, I’m excited to lead the next phase of our development by continuing to invest in our people, our capabilities, and the service we deliver to our customers.”
According to the 2026 UK Facilities Management Market Research Report by askporter, facilities management professionals want clear, verifiable evidence of work being delivered, with teams that can communicate progress in real time. This requires technology that is affordable, intuitive, and quick to adopt.
Yet the report found that:
Over three quarters of FM professionals (76 per cent) experience operational inefficiencies caused by siloed software which results in a lack of real-time visibility.
Communications challenges lead to maintenance issues, with 73 per cent of teams being forced into reactive problem-solving on a weekly basis.
A worrying level of compliance gaps, with 44 per cent of admitting that half or less of their compliance tasks are tracked and automated within their systems.
Closing this gap requires the establishment of transparent and consistent communications using affordable software that gives FM teams the ability to track, evidence and improve their services.
This webinar provides a valuable overview of the main findings of the report by askporter followed by a panel discussion by FM thought leaders on practical, strategic solutions that can help close this communications gap.
