OCS Ireland takes home Total FM Service Provider of the Year award

OCS Ireland has been crowned Total FM Service Provider of the Year at the 2026 FM Awards Ireland, which recognise excellence across the facilities management sector.

The judges look to recognise the Total Facilities Management provider that has demonstrated the strongest performance across service delivery, innovation, customer satisfaction, and business impact over the past 12 months. For OCS Ireland, this recognition honours the efforts of over 3,000 colleagues across the island, delivering integrated FM services every day.

The past 12 months have been one of the most successful periods in OCS Ireland’s recent history. The team achieved notable organic growth by retaining existing contracts through effective performance management, expanding services with current customers, and securing targeted new business in sectors where OCS is establishing a long-term presence. Long-standing customer relationships, some lasting nearly two decades, highlight the consistency that supports this growth.

Alongside contract performance, OCS has invested in tools and technology that enhance service delivery and improve customer experience. Smart building technology facilitates demand-driven service and real-time energy management, while digital platforms provide customers with direct access to performance data and a live feedback channel. This transparency has fostered more productive customer relationships and quicker resolution of issues when they occur.
Environmental commitments, including near-elimination of landfill waste from OCS-operated sites, are integrated into daily operations rather than treated as separate initiatives.

Aine Mulcahy MSc, Managing Director, OCS Ireland said: “I couldn’t be more proud of my team and all of our colleagues across the country. I’d like to thank every single one of them, our customers and our partners. We’re on a mission to make people and places the best they can be, and recognition, like this, tells us we’re moving in the right direction. Thank you.”

Safety at Work
FMJ and Watco Webinar: Meeting compliance in a new culture of accountability

From January 2026, the Building Safety Regulator (BSR) formally separated from the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). Created under the Building Safety Act 2022 in response to the Grenfell Tower tragedy, the BSR is designed to raise safety standards across the built environment and introduce a stronger culture of accountability, transparency, and proactive risk management.

This shift places facilities managers in a more strategic safety assurance role – far beyond routine maintenance.

FMJ and Watco are hosting a webinar on 22 April at 11:00am to explore what this new regulatory landscape means for FMs. To register for the webinar click here.
