Portfolio, part of Churchill Group, has been appointed by CBRE on behalf of global law firm Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer (HSFK) to deliver cleaning and associated services across four of its London offices.
The contract covers three City of London locations and HSFK’s Canary Wharf office. Services include cleaning, housekeeping, window cleaning, confidential waste management and pest control, delivered by a dedicated on-site team of 39 colleagues and led by a dedicated account manager.
Portfolio has a strong track record in the law sector, and experience of its particular compliance requirements, having supported numerous global firms in recent years. In addition to sector expertise, HSFK was looking for a partner that shared its values and business practices.
The partnership is built on a common goal to deliver social value. In January 2026, HSFK welcomed its first social recruit through People Plus, supporting an individual who had previously experienced long-term unemployment back into work. This month, that commitment is being extended through the launch of an internship programme with West Lea, creating further opportunities for people to develop skills and access meaningful employment.
Sarah McLeod, Operations Director at Portfolio, said: “We’re delighted to be supporting Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer by delivering exceptional services across their London offices. We recognise the importance of maintaining these spaces to the highest standards as they regularly host clients. We are also incredibly proud that this partnership reflects our social value priorities, with HSFK’s commitment to the wellbeing of its workforce through the Living Wage and Living Pension.”
Andy Mason, Senior Buildings Operation Manager at Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer, said: “We’re delighted to be working with Portfolio. Its focus on service excellence and fair employment closely aligns with our own priorities. This partnership will play an important role in creating welcoming, high-performing workplaces across our London offices.”
