Bespoke energy solutions provider, Protech Group, is offering a limited run of free HVAC consultations to help facilities managers and operational leads stay compliant in a rapidly evolving legislative landscape.
The complimentary virtual consultation – also open to compliance, procurement, and operations professionals – will explore potential safety and financial risks associated with non-compliance with critical HVAC legislation and regulations.
A key focus of the sessions will be support around compliance with the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations and the Medium Combustion Plant Directive, and follows the 1 January 2025 compliance deadline for existing MCPs with a capacity greater than 5MWth and less than 50MWth.
They will also support facilities managers and operational leads to prepare ahead of the 1 January 2030 compliance deadline for MCPs with a capacity equal to or greater than 1MWth and less than or equal to 5MWth.
In addition to guidance on avoiding non-compliance and audit issues, the consultations will also cover:
- Signs your HVAC system may be costing more than it should
- Whether the current maintenance approach is fit-for-purpose
- Opportunities to extend plant life or reduce downtime
- How to avoid non-compliance, audit issues, or safety concerns
Ross Docherty, Director at Protech Group, commented: “Stretched facilities management teams are under pressure to balance safety, sustainability and efficiency targets. As a result, stakeholders may find themselves in need of advice and support to stay on top of compliance, especially given the severe consequences of failing to do so.
“Ultimately, we see our virtual reviews as the strong starting point for ensuring compliance and preparing for a system check or inspection. They are a high-value consultation designed to help decision-makers act with confidence, however as they are only available for a limited time I would encourage those interested to sign-up today.”
