LRPM, a provider of residential and commercial block and estate management across London, has created a specialist practice with dedicated expertise as it doubles high-rise residential blocks under management in just six months.
The specialist practice addresses the complex regulatory requirements now governing buildings over 80 metres in height across London in the wake of the Grenfell Tower tragedy.
LRPM has recruited a dedicated fire safety expert to support the new practice. Meanwhile all staff have received comprehensive training on the new regulations affecting high rise residential buildings in the capital.
The move comes during a period of growth for LRPM. The firm now manages a portfolio of more than 100 buildings with more than 1,000 residents living in high rise blocks.
The new high-rise practice reflects LRPM’s strategic response to evolving regulatory requirements, including enhanced fire safety assessments, stricter building safety protocols, and increased reporting obligations for tall residential buildings.
Letitia Randall, Founder of LRPM, said: “The high-rise sector represents a growing and extremely important area of our business. The added complexity of managing tower blocks in today’s regulatory environment means this has become a genuine specialism that is highly valued by our residents and building owners.
“The post-Grenfell legislative changes have fundamentally altered the landscape for high rise residential management. We recognised early on that this sector would require dedicated expertise and resources, which is why we’ve invested in specialist personnel and comprehensive training across our entire team.”
