Following a busy summer, which saw Spectrum Services Solutions expand its team and provision of services to events such as the Tall Ships Races in July, the company also added 13 new sites to its portfolio in and around Aberdeen.
Thanks to a long-established relationship with CBRE, the soft FM services provider, has been commissioned to manage some of the prime properties it oversees in the North of Scotland.
The additions include nine sites for Halliburton, one of the world’s largest providers of products and services for the energy industry. There’s one site for Aker Solutions that delivers integrated solutions, products, and services to the global energy industry. Another is at Enovate Systems, which designs, develops, qualifies, and manufactures solutions for the well-completion and intervention sector. Another single site is for Chevron, the global energy company with a long-established presence in the North Sea. Finally, another single site for North East Scotland Pension Fund (NESPF) administrators of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS), the third largest fund in Scotland.
Spectrum will provide a full range of services, including daily cleaning, sanitary, laundry, window cleaning, and janitorial at each of the 13 sites.
Spectrum’s Managing Director, Rebecca Bell, said: “This has been a very exciting time for everyone at Spectrum, especially our Aberdeen team; the addition of any new contract or site is always good news, but adding thirteen at one time is a significant increase, one we welcome. It’s a tremendous reflection of the hard work our teams across the country have done with CBRE; our relationship with them continues to grow, and we thank them for the faith they have shown in Spectrum by awarding such a significant portfolio of their clients’ sites in the North East.”
Spectrum Regional Operations Manager Jennie McColls added: “This is a really exciting time at Spectrum with so many great things happening, especially in the North. Getting to know clients and building strong working relationships is one of my favourite things about my role, so you can imagine how much I’ve enjoyed meeting new clients across these sites. So far, everyone has been enthused about our appointment, and all have been extremely supportive during the familiarisation period. I’m really looking forward to cementing these relationships and working with some great people who represent some globally leading brands in the future.”
The way we work has changed – yet, many organisations are still relying on rigid, one-size-fits-all tools to manage desks and meeting rooms, according to a new study from workplace management solutions provider, Matrix Booking.
Spreadsheets, calendars, and generic booking software may have worked once, but they’re struggling to keep pace with today’s flexible, hybrid workforce. The result? Wasted time, frustrated employees, and expensive underutilised space.
Matrix Booking’s new study, ‘One-size-fits-all booking systems don’t work for today’s workforce’, explores why current systems are falling short – and how organisations can reimagine workspace management to boost efficiency, employee experience, and cost savings.
