The Guinness Partnership, one of England’s largest housing associations, has formally signed five contractors to new long-term agreements, to deliver its planned maintenance and investment programme. Valued at over £1 billion, the contracts span the next 15 years.
The contractors and regions they will cover are:
- Axis Europe Ltd – Greater London & South East and Coast
- Fortem Solutions Limited – Yorkshire, Humberside & East Midlands
- Morgan Sindall Property Services Limited – Home Counties
- Novus Property Solutions Limited – South West.
- UI Social Infrastructure Ltd – North West and Greater Manchester
The contracts will support the delivery of high‑quality, energy efficient homes across The Guinness Partnership’s national footprint. As part of these long‑term agreements, each partner will also invest in social value initiatives within its neighbourhoods – from creating employment opportunities to supporting community projects – helping to deliver wider benefits for residents.
Catriona Simons, Group Chief Executive at The Guinness Partnership said: “We are delighted to welcome our new partners and to have formally signed our Planned Investment and Major Works contracts. These partnerships demonstrate our shared commitment to investing in and improving residents’ homes. Today marked the beginning of relationships we expect to grow and strengthen in the years ahead, as we work together to deliver lasting benefits for our residents.
“Residents are central to this partnership. When selecting our partners, we placed residents’ priorities at the front of the process. Their feedback – ranging from the importance of clear communication to consistently high‑quality works – directly shaped our decisions and will continue to guide how these partnerships operate day to day.
“We look forward to working closely with our partners in the years ahead as we focus on improving residents’ homes.”

FMJ and Watco Webinar: Meeting compliance in a new culture of accountability
From January 2026, the Building Safety Regulator (BSR) formally separated from the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). Created under the Building Safety Act 2022 in response to the Grenfell Tower tragedy, the BSR is designed to raise safety standards across the built environment and introduce a stronger culture of accountability, transparency, and proactive risk management.
This shift places facilities managers in a more strategic safety assurance role – far beyond routine maintenance.
FMJ and Watco are hosting a webinar on 22 April at 11:00am to explore what this new regulatory landscape means for FMs. To register for the webinar click here.
