Powerstar appoints David Seabridge as Chief Executive Officer to accelerate innovation and growth

Powerstar, a provider of smart power solutions for the energy transition, has announced the appointment of David Seabridge as Chief Executive Officer.

The move comes at a pivotal time for the manufacturer, as it focuses on driving growth and accelerating innovation across its portfolio of energy-saving technologies.

Formerly Chief Financial Officer of Powerstar, Seabridge first joined the company in 2022 and has played an instrumental role in shaping strategy and improving operational performance across the business.

Joining him on the executive board, Solon Mardapittas returns to Powerstar as Chief Technical Officer to lead product development across Powerstar’s technologies, which cover Voltage Optimisation (VO), Low Loss Transformers, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

“Having served as Chief Financial Officer and more recently as Interim CEO, it’s been a privilege to work alongside such a talented and dedicated team during this period of transformation,” said David Seabridge. “I’m looking forward to continuing this journey with our colleagues, partners, and customers across both Powerstar and the wider D2Zero group as we shape the future of energy resilience and smart power solutions.”

Solon Mardapittas, CTO added, “Our focus remains on delivering cutting-edge solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers in a fast-moving energy landscape, where efficiency and decarbonisation are critical.
