Impact Food Group (IFG), a leading UK education catering specialist has acquired Dolce, a family-founded catering provider with a strong reputation for quality and service across the education sector.
The deal is a natural next step enabling IFG’s mission to transform one million students’ lives every year through the power of food. Both companies are driven by a commitment to making a genuine social impact—improving health outcomes, supporting educational attainment, and building lifelong healthy habits. By bringing together their expertise, resources, and innovative digital systems, the combined group will be able to deliver even greater value to schools, students, parents and communities across the UK.
With Dolce joining the IFG family, the Group cements its position as one of the market leaders in education catering, now serving over 1,500 schools and one million students every day. This expanded reach enables IFG to deliver positive results at scale, supporting schools of all types—from primary and secondary to independent—with tailored, chef-led food experiences.
The Impact Food Group is powered by a portfolio of distinct, industry-leading brands, including Innovate, Cucina and Hutchison, as well as the independent school brand, Chapter One.
Dolce will continue to operate as a stand-alone brand within IFG, with its Co-Founders Scott and Adam Curtis remaining at the helm and joining the IFG Senior Leadership Team. This ensures continuity for clients, suppliers, and employees, while opening up new opportunities for collaboration, training, and development across the group.
Richard Taylor, CEO of Impact Food Group, said: “Dolce’s dedication to quality, service, and fresh food mirrors our own values and culture. We’re thrilled to join forces with a partner who shares our passion for transforming student outcomes through nutritious and vibrant food experiences. Together, we will combine our strengths to deliver exceptional service to our clients, enhance student wellbeing, and preserve the unique cultures that define both our organisations and of which we are very proud. This collaboration empowers us to make a meaningful impact—helping more students eat better food, every day. We would like to welcome all the Dolce team to Impact Food Group’s family and look forward to working closely together.”
Scott Curtis, Co-Founder of Dolce, added: “Dolce has always been built on family values, fresh food and a genuine love for what we do. Over the past 25 years, that’s been at the heart of every meal we’ve served and every relationship we’ve built. Joining the IFG family is an exciting next step – one that allows us to stay true to who we are while being part of a wider organisation that shares our passion and purpose. Together, we’ll keep doing what we do best: delivering great food, nurturing our people, and making a real difference in schools across the country.”

The way we work has changed – yet, many organisations are still relying on rigid, one-size-fits-all tools to manage desks and meeting rooms, according to a new study from workplace management solutions provider, Matrix Booking.
Spreadsheets, calendars, and generic booking software may have worked once, but they’re struggling to keep pace with today’s flexible, hybrid workforce. The result? Wasted time, frustrated employees, and expensive underutilised space.
Matrix Booking’s new study, ‘One-size-fits-all booking systems don’t work for today’s workforce’, explores why current systems are falling short – and how organisations can reimagine workspace management to boost efficiency, employee experience, and cost savings.
