Design-Led appoints Director of Partnerships

Integrated interior solutions business, Design-Led, has appointed Nick Collins as Director of Partnerships, strengthening the company’s focus on strategic relationships across workplace, education, facilities management and built-environment projects.

In his new role, Collins will work closely with facilities teams, workplace consultants, estates teams, architects, designers, contractors, client teams and delivery partners to support a more joined-up approach to project delivery.

The appointment reflects Design-Led’s continued focus on helping clients and project teams coordinate key interior elements earlier in the process, particularly where furniture, AV and architectural detailing need to work together to create effective spaces for work, learning and collaboration.

Commenting on the appointment, Ben Crooks, Managing Director at Design-Led, said: “Nick brings a strong relationship-led approach and a clear understanding of the sectors we support. His appointment as Director of Partnerships will help us strengthen our connections with clients, consultants and project partners, while continuing to promote a more integrated approach to workplace, education and facilities-led projects.

“Facilities and workplace teams are increasingly involved in conversations about how spaces perform over time. By considering furniture, AV and interior elements earlier in the process, project teams can make better decisions, reduce delivery issues and create environments that are easier to manage and more effective for the people using them.”

Collins, said of his new role: “Design-Led has a strong understanding of how different elements of a space need to come together, from furniture and AV through to architectural detailing and project delivery.

“My role is about building partnerships that help clients, facilities teams and project teams think about those elements earlier, so decisions are better coordinated and spaces perform more effectively once complete.

“I’m looking forward to working with existing and new partners across workplace, education and the wider built environment.”
