apetito has launched its new Hot Grab & Go concept pilot at Loughborough University. Designed to revolutionise the delivery of hot food across campus, the initiative ensures staff & students have access to nutritious, convenient meals wherever they are.

By working closely together, apetito & Loughborough University have developed a test & learn approach that is continually refined through operational experience and feedback from staff and students. This collaboration represents a significant enhancement to Loughborough University’s food offering. Through apetito’s ‘Hot 2 Go’ service, they can now offer staff & students access to hot, nutritious meals across campus, giving them greater convenience and choice wherever they study, work or socialise.

‘Hot 2 Go’ offers a healthier, more satisfying alternative to traditional grab & go options. This concept delivers a diverse, quality menu from even the smallest spaces, enabling their catering team to compliment their existing offerings with freshly prepared hot meals in smaller outlets.

Alongside ‘Hot 2 Go’, apetito’s pre-prepared multi-portion range helps university catering teams simplify operations, improve consistency and drive commercial performance, while serving large crowds with ease. Flexible and adaptable across multiple concepts and service styles, it reduces on-site complexity and labour while maintaining quality at scale, enabling teams to enhance the student experience with less.

The range offers a wide variety of dishes to suit different tastes, preferences and dietary requirements, including many options free from the 14 main allergens.
