Carlisle secures multi-year deal at ExCeL London

Carlisle Support Services has been awarded a multi-year security contract at ExCeL London, the capital’s largest event venue.

The contract will see Carlisle Support Services working closely alongside the venue’s in-house security team to ensure the security of ExCeL’s 100-acre campus, as well as the safety of its four million annual visitors, event organisers and exhibitors.

A designated Contract Manager, two Client Relationship Managers and an extensive pool of in-house trained and incentivised workforce will be assigned to the contract for optimal operational scalability to suit fluctuating demand.

Commenting on the contract award, ExCeL’s Head of Security, Henry Havis, said: “The safety and security of everyone who visits ExCeL London remains our utmost priority and working in partnership with Carlisle Support Services will only serve to reinforce that. The team have already seamlessly integrated themselves into our day-to-day security operations, together with working with our stakeholders, local residents and neighbouring businesses and we’re delighted to have them onboard.”

Chief Executive Officer at Carlisle Support Services, Paul Evans, added: “We are delighted to welcome ExCeL London to Carlisle’s client portfolio of world class venues. We look forward to developing a true partnership approach and delivering sustainable innovations for the greater benefit of all, therefore, becoming an invaluable partner as the venue continues to revolutionise events.”

Carlisle Support Services has over 30 years of experience supporting some of the UK’s largest brands and venues – including ACC Liverpool and Ascot Racecourse. The company also boasts long-standing client relationships, celebrating 23-years with Tottenham Hotspur.

Planned, proactive maintenance is a keystone of every FM strategy. However, with current cost constraints, there are many demands on Facilities Managers’ maintenance budgets. When it comes to drainage and plumbing, however, the expense of repairing blockages or dealing with flooding could vastly exceed the cost of preventative maintenance.

Given your role as an FM Professional, we would love to hear your views, challenges & experiences, and opinions on drainage & plumbing within the workplace.

The survey will take just five minutes to complete and offers the chance to win an Amazon Gift Card Worth £100.
