Compass chief people officer appointed to King’s College London Council

Compass Group UK & Ireland’s Chief People Officer, Donna Catley has been appointed as an Independent Member of King’s College London Council.

The Council is the supreme governing body which defines vision and strategic direction of King’s College London in addition to overseeing progress. Chaired by Lord Geidt, the Council comprises a mix of leading academics, staff, students, business and community leaders.

Since joining Compass in 2017, the company says Catley has put social mobility at the heart of the firm’s people agenda and is passionate about delivering social prosperity for all. Under her leadership, the organisation has achieved Real Living Wage accreditation, announced a multi-million-pound investment in learning and social outreach (The Compass Academy) and transformed career development for frontline colleagues.

Commenting on her appointment Catley said: “I am delighted to be joining the King’s College London Council. Their exceptional reputation in teaching and research globally, as well as their commitment to supporting the local community and giving back to society through meaningful service, really attracted me to the position and I look forward to supporting them.”
