infinitSpace launches first UAE locations

Creator and provider of white-label flexible workspaces, infinitSpace, has launched a new partnership with UAE-based investment and holding company Sultan Holding.

This new venture will see the merger of two new flexible workspaces, operating under a new flex-space brand ‘Centrum’ in two landmark commercial sites within Sultan Holding’s real estate portfolio: Bay Gate Tower, Dubai, and Sky Tower, Abu Dhabi.

infinitSpace was founded by former WeWork MD of Europe, Wybo Wijnbergen, and his brother, serial tech entrepreneur, Wilco Wijnbergen. It partners with landlords to transform traditional office space and to create and operate white-label flexible workspace brands, ensuring maximum traction with tenants as businesses’ demands evolve.

The company has already created and is now operating two flexible workspaces in London, with three more opening in the Netherlands and one in Germany later this year. However, this new venture will mark infinitSpace’s expansion into the MENA region with two new locations in the UAE.

In September 2023, Centrum will launch its first spaces in Bay Gate Tower, Business Bay, Dubai and in Sky Tower, Al Reem Island, Abu Dhabi. Combined, the floorspace will total 50,000 sq ft of new flexible workspace. In the coming five years the brand will expand across 20 locations in the MENA region, all connected to infinitSpace’s global community of coworkers via its tenant app.

Sultan Holding, a UAE-based company, founded in 1992, is a significant contributor to UAE society and economy. It deals with strategic investments across a diversified class of assets; under the leadership of Founder and CEO Sultan Hareb Al Falahi, it has become a world leading real estate investor and manager.

infinitSpace and Sultan Holding will work together to curate the new brand Centrum. Alongside a quality fit-out and integration of innovative tech, Centrum will be characterised by personal hospitality and community building, allowing it to provide a smooth and premium experience for enterprise, SMB’s and freelanders. Both sites will feature the latest in workspace technology as well as top-tier amenities, modernising the two sites to reflect the global movement toward flexible working following the pandemic.

Wybo Wijnbergen, CEO of infinitSpace, said: “2023 has already been a huge year for infinitSpace’s expansion but this latest deal truly showcases that infinitSpace is now a global business. The UAE is one of the world’s great business centres and I cannot wait to apply all the skills we have mastered over the past years to this exciting global hub.

“We are delighted to be working with Sultan Holding to develop a new flexible workspace brand that showcases their ambitious, progressive attitude toward real estate and community, and of course their passion for and pride in the whole of the UAE.”
