ISS names new director for the technology segment

ISS has appointed Marcelo Romano as Global Segment Business Development Director in the Technology segment.

Romano joins ISS from JLL Consulting, where his focus included advising clients how to reshape their real estate portfolios and workplaces of the future. Prior to this role, he was a Senior Managing Director at CBRE for the Global Workplace Solutions Group where he was responsible for managing global real estate & facilities delivery strategies for Global Technology companies.

Romano brings vast experience from a technology client perspective, having led the creation and implementation of Intel Corporation’s real estate and facilities strategy as Director of Corporate Real Estate. Prior to that role, he worked as Global Operations Manager in Intel’s Global Supply Chain, Facilities, Materials and Services group. 

Commenting on Romano’s appointment, Dan Ryan, Chief Commercial Officer of ISS World Services A/S, said: I’m very excited to welcome Marcelo to ISS. In line with our OneISS strategy and the connected focus on segment based key account growth, Marcelo will play a key role in driving segment expertise across the organisation, particularly as we transform and grow our business within technology.

Romano’s new role will see him based in San Francisco, where he will be close to many of the key global technology companies.
