Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) has announced a leadership transition as part of its long-term strategic plan. Greg Ward, PTSG’s Chief Operating Officer is taking over the Chief Executive Officer role with immediate effect, from Nikhil Varty who is leaving the business for personal reasons.
“This is a significant moment for PTSG,” said Executive Chairman Paul Teasdale. “We are a business that sets high standards – for ourselves, for our performance and for our industry. Under Greg’s leadership, we will continue to unite commercial ambition with operational delivery, ensuring that every part of our business is working in step to meet the evolving needs of our customers across the UK and beyond.”
PTSG, which was formed in 2007, operates across five key disciplines: Access & Safety, Electrical Services, Building Access Specialists, Fire Solutions and Water Treatment. Through a successful strategy of organic growth and targeted acquisitions, the Group now comprises more than 3,000 employees across more than 50 sites.
As CEO, Ward intends to drive the next phase of PTSG’s growth by aligning sales and operations more closely than ever before, reinforcing the Group’s reputation as a trusted, responsive and high-performing partner.
Said Teasdale: “We have built something extraordinary at PTSG – but there is more to come. Our growth targets are ambitious, but with the right leadership, the right culture and an unrelenting focus on delivery, they are absolutely achievable.”
