Independent, B Corp certified contract caterer, Houston & Hawkes, has been awarded a five-year contract for the provision of workplace dining services at Stewarts, the UK’s largest litigation-only law firm, as it expands and transforms its London office space.
The contract will see Houston & Hawkes serve more than 450 employees across a staff café, fine dining, hospitality, events and reception services, offering food menus built around fresh, seasonal ingredients and Great British produce.
Stewarts selected Houston & Hawkes for its chef-led approach, commitment to local producers and strong responsible business credentials. The caterer’s B Corp certification and focus on high-quality, nutritious food reflect Stewarts’ own commitment to the health and engagement of its people.
Dave Hawkes, Director at Houston & Hawkes, said: “We’re thrilled to be partnering with such a prestigious firm. Stewarts shares our belief that great food plays a vital role in supporting healthy, connected teams and creating a workplace people enjoy being part of. We can’t wait to bring our delicious food to their team.”
Stuart Dench, Managing Partner at Stewarts, commented: “We’re delighted to welcome Houston & Hawkes as our new catering partner. Their focus on quality, provenance and responsible sourcing aligns closely with our values. Creating a compelling workplace proposition for our people is a key priority, and we’re confident the food and service they provide will contribute meaningfully to that.”
The way we work has changed – yet, many organisations are still relying on rigid, one-size-fits-all tools to manage desks and meeting rooms, according to a new study from workplace management solutions provider, Matrix Booking.
Spreadsheets, calendars, and generic booking software may have worked once, but they’re struggling to keep pace with today’s flexible, hybrid workforce. The result? Wasted time, frustrated employees, and expensive underutilised space.
Matrix Booking’s new study, ‘One-size-fits-all booking systems don’t work for today’s workforce’, explores why current systems are falling short – and how organisations can reimagine workspace management to boost efficiency, employee experience, and cost savings.
