Magenta Associates publishes Impact Report capturing 2025 progress

Employee-owned communications consultancy Magenta Associates’ 2025 Impact Report highlights several major milestones achieved last year. These include securing B Corp certification, completing Carbon Literacy training across the majority of the business, expanding the agency’s research into the impact of AI on buyer behaviour, and winning the Professional Services category at the Brighton & Hove Business Awards.

Published twelve months after Magenta’s inaugural Impact Report, the 2025 edition provides a candid update on the commitments the consultancy set for itself, outlining both the progress made and the areas where further work remains.

A key feature of the report is Magenta’s B Corp Certification. Having achieved a score of 126.1 – substantially above the 80-point threshold – the rigorous assessment process required the business to review every aspect of its operations, from governance and employee wellbeing to environmental impact and community engagement. As a B Corp, Magenta has also committed to ongoing improvement through recertification every three years.

As part of Magenta’s environmental work, 80 per cent of the team achieved Carbon Literacy certification after completing training with the Carbon Literacy Project. Magenta aims to reach full certification across the business in 2026. The report also showcases original insight published by the agency during the year, including Search Forward: How AI is reshaping the B2B buyer journey. The findings informed both Magenta’s client work and the launch of a new AI-focused transformation and content service.

Internally, Magenta reports improvements in employee engagement, with its latest staff survey showing increases in job satisfaction, leadership communication and access to professional development, alongside low voluntary turnover.

Jo Sutherland, managing director at Magenta Associates, said: “Publishing an impact report forces you to look honestly at what you’ve achieved and where you still need to do better. Our 2025 Impact Report reflects a year of meaningful progress. We’re especially proud of becoming a B Corp and the work we’re doing to understand AI’s role in responsible communications. Just as importantly, of course, it also highlights the commitments we didn’t fully deliver and the lessons we’re taking into the year ahead.”

Alongside publishing its own report, Magenta supports organisations across a range of sectors to plan, produce and promote credible impact reports. Drawing on its experience of transparent, evidence-led reporting, the agency provides support spanning strategic planning, framework alignment, content development, design and multi-channel communications.
