New podcast series on Smart Local Energy Systems launched by Amey

Amey has launched a new podcast series exploring Smart Local Energy Systems (SLES) and their role in enabling a sustainable, resilient, low-carbon future.

Featuring insights from industry experts, innovators, and thought leaders across the business, this series provides an in-depth look at the opportunities and challenges shaping the future of energy systems.

All three episodes are available now on the Amey website and all major podcast platforms, exploring the following critical aspects of SLES:

  • Episode 1: SLES Leading into Action – An introduction to Smart Local Energy Systems, focusing on local energy generation, smart technologies, and how SLES differs from traditional energy models.
  • Episode 2: Data Governance Meets Cyber Security – A deep dive into data and technology in SLES, including demand forecasting, real-time monitoring, and optimisation, alongside the challenges and opportunities in data governance and cybersecurity.
  • Episode 3: Funding a Sustainable Future – A discussion on the role of partnerships in scaling local energy solutions, highlighting public-private collaboration, joint innovation, and the barriers to building effective partnerships.
