New year hires at Servo Group

Servo Group has made a number of key hires to boost its sales, bids and operational capacity as it continues to drive its expansion.

The Leeds-based multi-service provider, which provides security, CCTV and cleaning services nationwide, has appointed Iain Warburton, Elly Carritt-Gurney and Kylie Cook to its Head Office team.

Iain Warburton, who takes on the role of Divisional Manager, will be working with Partnership Manager, Claire Gabites, to grow and expand Servo’s cleaning division, which has seen the addition of some major national clients in the past year. Warburton joins the business with a wealth of experience in facilities management and national sales, having held previous management positions at ProForce and Prime Secure.

Boosting the firm’s capacity to bid for major, multi-year contracts, Elly Carritt-Gurney has joined Servo as Bid Writer. She has a strong bid writing background, having previously carried out roles at Kings’ security and bid writing agency Bidboss.

Servo has also recruited Kylie Cook to its team as Business Development Manager, taking responsibility for growing the multi-service providers’ presence in the Midlands. Cook joins Servo with a strong, diverse sales background across a range of sectors, having previously held positions at Close Brothers and TNT.

To boost its operational capacity, following some major contract wins, Servo has also recruited Jason Myers as Regional Supervisor, and Callum Smith as CCTV Engineer, enhancing its capacity for CCTV and systems installations.

Group Sales Director, Nina Brooks said of the new appointments: “It’s a really exciting start to the New Year for us with lots of incredible opportunities in the pipeline. I’m confident that with all their combined experience and expertise, our new members of the team are going to make a significant contribution to our continued growth, helping to make 2024 our most successful year yet.”

Servo Group now employs over 1,300 operatives all around the UK, with more than 40 staff based at its current head office in Leeds. It works with some major national clients, including Orsted Energy, Network Rail, Conrad Energy and Kier Group.

In the past 12 months, Servo has opened three further regional offices, aside from its Leeds headquarters, including a new Scottish base in Glasgow, and it’s targeting a £22 million turnover in the next 12 months.
