Resource management consultancy, Novati, has strengthened its ability to offer creative, innovative, sustainable solutions to its customers across the UK, with the acquisition of Managed Waste solutions (MWS) Ltd.

MWS, which commenced trading in 2007, works with hospitality businesses, buying consortiums, healthcare providers and high street retailers. The business specialises in providing a total waste management experience that focuses primarily on delivering trade waste and washroom services to more than 1,000 customers.

Speaking about the acquisition, Novati Managing Director, Max Kanda said: “During a period of unprecedented organic and acquisitional growth over the past few years, we’ve remained committed to our vision ‘partnering towards your world without waste’. It’s one of the reasons we’re the UK’s leading independent broker in the waste & resource management sector. We work with an incredible supply chain to deliver the changes that our customers have craved from the industry for many years, and we welcome MWS’s staff, suppliers, and customers onboard as we continue our collective journey to net-zero.”

MWS Managing Director, Mark Nessling added: “MWS was born out of a need to offer solutions that waste producers simply weren’t receiving from the sector. The team and I have built a great business that has flourished; even during the coronavirus pandemic. Now feels like the right time to pass on the baton to Novati, and I know that they will continue to deliver great services to an amazing customer base.”
