Tivoli lands UK-wide Whitbread deal

Tivoli Group has commenced operations for a new three-year landscaping contract with Whitbread Plc.

The deal will see Tivoli teams deliver planned grounds maintenance services at 120 Whitbread sites across Scotland and the North of England, and support with reactive works at over 500 sites across the Midlands, London, South East of England, and Wales.

Whitbread is a leading hospitality company, owning Premier Inn, Brewers Fayre and Beefeater. For the planned grounds maintenance at Premier Inn sites and their associated restaurants, Tivoli teams will manage grass cutting, plant bedding, leaf collection and weed control services, as well as tree, hedge and shrub maintenance.

Tivoli will be investing in local recruitment; staff training and upskilling; social value, sustainability, and biodiversity initiatives; as well as further development of ‘The Hive’, Tivoli’s new work management system, for advanced reporting and asset management plans.

Paul Wood & Anisha Tailor-Mistry, Whitbread Procurement Managers, said: “Tivoli impressed us throughout the process with their professionalism, confidence, and attention to detail. With a client base very suited to ourselves in operation and locations, along with good volume of field technician, provided us with the confidence that Tivoli can deliver the service to our expectation, and we look forward to a long-lasting relationship.”

Neil Simpson, Tivoli’s Director of Operations, said: “We are delighted to be working with Whitbread to maintain the grounds and support their sites across the UK. A key focus for our teams will be developing an excellent working relationship with all of Whitbread’s Regional Maintenance and site teams, and we look forward to delivering a first-class service with real-time insight using our dynamic technology.”

Metro Rod Drainage and Plumbing Survey

Planned, proactive maintenance is a keystone of every FM strategy. However, with current cost constraints, there are many demands on Facilities Managers’ maintenance budgets. When it comes to drainage and plumbing, however, the expense of repairing blockages or dealing with flooding could vastly exceed the cost of preventative maintenance.

Given your role as an FM Professional, we would love to hear your views, challenges & experiences, and opinions on drainage & plumbing within the workplace.

The survey will take just five minutes to complete and offers the chance to win an Amazon Gift Card Worth £100.
