Umbrella Furniture marks a year of Northern growth with the launch of ‘Umbrella + Friends MCR’ in Manchester

Twelve months after opening a dedicated Manchester office, leading workplace furniture specialists Umbrella Furniture bring twelve world-class brands to the O2 Victoria Warehouse 30 June to 2 July celebrating a year of northern growth.

Andreu World, Bolon, Eikund, Icons of Denmark, Kvadrat, Lintex, New Design Group, NORR11, Savo, Vantage Spaces, Vitra and XAL will form the inaugural ‘Umbrella+Friends MCR’ at Trafford Park Manchester – a collective exhibition under one roof.

In 2025 Umbrella Furniture, part of the Wagstaff Group, expanded into the North with a dedicated Manchester office and a regional team that is now firmly established. This regional growth strategy was a direct response to the real commercial momentum happening in the Norths’ workplace and interiors market: ‘Umbrella+Friends MCR’ is a statement of what’s to come.

While Umbrella’s London office has hosted the Umbrella+Friends format for a number of years as part of Clerkenwell Design Week, this is the first time the event comes to Manchester, and the brand line-up reflects exactly the growth and ambition in the region.

The exhibition brings together a curated selection of world-class furniture and workspace brands, several of which are making their Manchester debut. For buyers, designers, architects, and specifiers across the North, this is a rare opportunity to experience these brands in person. Each visit is guided, curated, and bookable in advance with the Umbrella team on hand to welcome guests across all three days.
