The Hard FM framework is free to access for all UK public sector bodies and offers potential saving opportunities of five to 10 per cent. It has been specifically developed for the requirements of the NHS and healthcare sector. Services covered include estate and FM services, building maintenance services and relocation services.

The appointment marks the first time that the company has been appointed to one of NHS SBS’s extensive portfolio of framework agreements. BMG has already worked on a handful of projects via the framework since it commenced in April.

Brendan Griffin-Ryan, NHS SBS Senior Category Manager – Estates & Facilities, said: “The management of NHS estates and facilities demands specialist expertise in areas such as strategic planning alongside comprehensive knowledge of the estate’s condition. Compliance, with an ever-increasing list of regulations, places further pressure on teams managing these vital services. This framework is designed to support estate managers meet these targets and provide a compliant route for reactive, planned and new installations of equipment and infrastructure.”

BMG has extensive experience in the healthcare sector. The company supported a major healthcare provider during the pandemic and boasts expertise in the unique challenges of a hospital relocation.
