EQUANS appointed to all three Lots of ESPO’s Total Facilities Management Framework

EQUANS, the recently formed entity bringing together all of ENGIE’s services-led activity, has been awarded a position on all three Lots of the East Shires Purchasing Organisation’s (ESPO) Total Facilities Management framework.

Services offered through the framework will include maintenance services, cleaning, compliance and security services, electrical works, plus fully managed hard FM and Soft FM services.

ESPO is managed by six local authorities, Cambridgeshire County Council, Leicestershire County Council, Lincolnshire County Council, Norfolk County Council, Peterborough City Council, and Warwickshire County Council.

The objective of the framework is to give public sector organisations access to pre-approved service providers to help them achieve optimum value for money when buying goods and services. Facilities management services are divided into three ‘Lots’, based on contract value. EQUANS has been approved for all three Lots, covering contract values from £0-1m through to £5m+.

EQUANS Craig Butt, Managing Director of Corporate, observed: “Our inclusion on this ESPO framework is clear validation of our proven ability to deliver smarter FM through integration of FM services. Our work with local authorities helps them to optimise their buildings and operations whilst also creating sustainable environments and we look forward to working in the same way with ESPO customers.”

In sourcing their pre-approved FM providers through ESPO, organisations will not need to undertake lengthy and costly procurement processes as all necessary public procurement formalities have already been carried out. They are able to simply approach nominated service providers to invite quotations and instigate any selection procedures they feel appropriate. Core specifications and template documents will be freely available.

EQUANS brought together ENGIE’s UK & Ireland services-led activity under a new brand.  All of ENGIE’s UK & Ireland activity in technical services & facilities management, energy efficiency and regeneration are now part of EQUANS – along with specialist energy related capabilities: in smart buildings, green mobility, district & embedded energy and decentralised renewables.
