Galliford Try lands place on £3bn CCS Security framework

Galliford Try, one of UK’s leading construction groups, has been appointed to the new £3 billion Crown Commercial Service (CCS) framework for Security – Physical, Technical and Support Services.

The business has been appointed to all four lots of the new procurement vehicle which covers video surveillance systems, the installation and maintenance of security systems, guarding services, consultancy and risk and security assessments. All activity under the framework will be delivered by Galliford Try’s security specialist business Asset Intelligence.

The Security Services framework is open to central Government and all other UK public sector bodies, including local authorities, health, police, fire and rescue, education and the devolved administrations. The award builds on Galliford Try’s position as leading specialist services provider, following appointment to the CCS’s Facilities Management and Workplace Services framework earlier this year.

Uzair Osman, Managing Director of Galliford Try’s Asset Intelligence business, commented: “This framework success helps drive forward our ambition to become the physical and electronic security partner of choice for UK public sector organisations, providing them access to our core skills and national presence. We look forward to collaborating with CCS to deliver security excellence and value to their partners and the communities they work in.”

CCS supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2021/22, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £2.8 billion, supporting the delivery of world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.
