Linaker awarded FM deal with Bright Horizons

National building services specialist, Linaker, has been awarded an initial three-year deal with Bright Horizons to manage the facilities at its portfolio of over 300 nursery settings.

As part of the agreement, which comes with a two-year extension option, Linaker has developed and will be implementing a bespoke, full hard service solution, which will be tailored to each setting. Dedicating teams of local engineers across the country, alongside the support of its already robust network of over 150 engineers, Linaker says it will ensure the facilities needs of every Bright Horizons nursery is looked after.

Alongside managing the Planned Preventative Maintenance, the contract will see Linaker mobilise a fully automated QR tagging service that will allow nursery team members to place reactive calls quickly and easily.

Claire Curran, Linaker Managing Director, said: “We couldn’t be more proud to work with such a culturally aligned client as the iconic Bright Horizons. The team have worked extremely hard to ensure our unparalleled value for money service shines through, whilst showcasing our truly national reach, anchored by our local offices.”

Leo McMulkin, Head of Facilities at Bright Horizons, added: “In each of our nurseries, our dedicated teams create inspiring learning experiences that encourage children to be curious and confident. Safety comes first at all our nurseries, and we maintain comprehensive and rigorous health and safety practices. We’re proud to partner with Linaker to support our quality environments where children can thrive.”

Linaker is also supporting the Bright Horizons Foundation for Children with a free labour hour given to every Bright Space across the UK. The Foundation has more than 80 Bright Spaces throughout the UK, which are supported by the Bright Horizons community. These Bright Spaces provide warm, safe, enriching play environments for vulnerable children affected by abuse, domestic violence, parental imprisonment, and ill-health.
