Nurture Landscapes Group completes its sixth acquisition of the year

Green services provider, Nurture Landscapes Group, has acquired Coventry-based Fallons Ground Maintenance Ltd.

This, marks the company’s sixth acquisition of the financial year, and places the independently owned, national landscaping and horticultural services group amongst the fastest growing businesses in its industry with group revenue set to top close to £130 million this year.

With annual sales of £2.6 million, Fallons is focused primarily on providing high-quality services to a broad spectrum of corporate clients throughout the Midlands region.

Founded in 1976, Bill Fallon started Fallons Grounds Maintenance originally as an addition to an already successful milk round business. From the local filling station and a single mower bought locally for £25 per cut, he worked tirelessly over the next forty-plus years to build a professional grounds business focusing mainly on the education sector in and around the Midlands. As the business grew, two further generations of the Fallon family joined the team, and they continue to work in the business today.

Alongside its core grounds maintenance service, Fallons has extended its offering to include landscaping and winter maintenance, areas in which Nurture Group is successfully building a fully nationwide network of provision, alongside its other services.

Integration of Fallons into Nurture Group will take place over the remainder of 2022 with the business trading under the Nurture brand from 1 January 2023.

Bill’s son, and Co-founder Lee, along with fellow family members Chris and Kieran, will continue in their respective operational and management roles, working with Nurture’s Midlands Head of Operations, Chris Notley.

Peter Fane, Nurture’s Founder and Executive Chairman, said: “I am delighted to welcome Fallons into The Nurture Group. Our two companies share similar values and cultures, and we both believe in providing high quality products and service to customers. Cultural fit alongside professional excellence are important elements on our path to growth.

“In addition to its strong presence in the education sector, Fallons’ capabilities will help to augment our wider portfolio in hospitality, industrial and healthcare facilities alongside clients’ FM professionals and partners. We are really looking forward to onboard this well-respected organisation and taking them on our venture to extraordinary growth.”
